Sam Ging Yui Kui
Sam Gin Yui Kui is the 2nd form in the Chow Gar Mantis Style. Yui Kui translated means to shake off. It requires the use of the wrist that is turned over and pushed forward. The yui kui works more effectively in the long “gung bo” stance. That is why in the traditional form practice longer stance. There are two ways to use this technique, the first being to turn over the arm and push forward, forcing your opponent to release his grip and would expose certain vital areas, the second being that you use the other hand to hold onto your opponents grabbing hand, you then perform the yui kui aiming at the two vital points on the wrist which causes your opponent to fall down to his knees.
